Lake House Description

Professor Julia Williams has finally gotten her life under control ever since that fateful Christmas night her parents kicked her out of the house. She is now able to manage all the pieces of her life as soon-to-be department head of English at Grand Valley State University while being a single mom to her fourteen-year-old daughter.

She finds security in the controlled environment she has created for herself. That is, until the man she has run from, the one who spun her life out of control in the first place over a decade ago, returns as a student in her night class. He just also happens to be the only man she’s ever loved. Julia must choose between holding tightly to the reins she has come to find comfort in or letting go for a man who just might be the perfect fit for her family, even if it means risking it all for a secret she’s kept for years.
